Fuchsia House Restaurant & Bar is run by husband and wife team, Sarajit Chanda and Sarah Nic Lochlainn.
They are passionate about good food and authenticity… did we say passionate? We meant sticklers!
All the recipes used on their international menu were given to them by friends and acquaintances during their globe-trotting adventures.
Sarajit, originally from Bangladesh, is arguably the best curry chef in Ireland. (That’s what the critics say). His food has to be tasted to be believed.
They are extremely motived by the link between wholesome nutrition and well-being. As they point out, all authentic cuisines are founded upon thrift, tradition and nutrition.
Local produce plays a huge part in the creation of their dishes. The Lamb and Beef they serve is produced on farms around Ardee and delivered to them by the local Craft Butcher.
Their Fresh Seafood is caught in nearby Clogherhead. Their Chicken comes from Co Monaghan.
